Quickvoice recording app works great on my iPad and is easy to use. I could email it and then on my desktop computer convert it to an mp3 so I could upload it to Moodle or a wiki. (Haven’t worked out how to upload to this blog though.) To convert files I used the online converter site. It’s a free online file converter with some audio edit settings but it has limited size restrictions.
I also tried iTalk. It does the same thing but because of the layout it’s suited more for the iPhone.
These apps make it a lot easier :
- to record students without cumbersome equipment.
- to upload audio for students to listen to anytime.
- to store and find afterwards.
- to make just in time learning real which also motivates students in turn. Isn’t this what teachers primarily want?
